Adams has many social activities-from our local highschool athletics, homecoming parade, fundraising food events to the ever popular and unforgettable 4th of July Celebration and Chicken BBQ. Our celebration features an unbelievable fireworks display in the park- courtesy of the Sportsmens Club. Adams Annual Tractor Pull in August is always a crowd pleaser with mud volleyball to get the day started.
Adams features Legion Baseball throughout the summer, pee wee football, softball, a Community Foundation for those who want to give back, along with a Volunteer Rescue Squad, Volunteer Fire Squad and so much more. As you can see -there is never a shortage of things to do.
We are fortunate to be a small growing community with residents who care. Adams has a beautiful city park, a thriving Main street, and an in-demand housing market.
Adams is governed by an elected Village Board and Chairman. Meetings are held the first Thursday following the first Monday of every month at 7:00pm at the Village Office. All meetings are open to the public. The Village Office is open for your convenience Monday-Friday 8:30-11:30am. Village Maintenance is available at 402-988-8049.
We are one of the few small towns to be fortunate enough to have a United States Post Office. Hours for the post office are Monday-Friday 8:30-12:00 and 1:30-4:00pm. Along with a post office our small town features a local medical center. Visit our local business page for more information.
